I love hearing about your adventures… love to you as you continue to journey together, and separately…. although it was a loooong time ago, Paris was my favourite city in Europe, just to wander around, eat, people-watch, etc…

    1. Hello Muriel. Thank you so much for your comments. I cannot tell you how much I smiled while I read your words. You are an incredible person, with such a bright future ahead. I hope that you are enjoying your Grade 8 year so far. Please tell all of the students that I miss them and think of them often (you were such a great class).

Although the move was filled with a lot of little challenges, we’ve managed to persevere. We are now really enjoying our time in France, and cannot wait to start travelling beyond its borders. We head to Italy in October (Venice, Verona, Florence, Rome). I’ll make a wish for you and the class when we get to the Trevi Fountain. I’m not sure if Michelle will remember our cryptic code that we worked out before I left, but tell her we’ve sampled both ‘Red Wine’ and ‘Pineapples’ (I think I got that right) 🙂 Keep reading the blog 🙂

PS – Say ‘hi’ to your Mom for me.

    Dear Mr. Wayling,
As i can see from reading your blogs Paris sounds amazing! i hope you are enjoying your time there and its everything you wanted and more. i miss you very much. high school had a rocky start, but i think its getting better. I’m doing competitive dance this year instead of basketball, but if it doesn’t work out i can always go back to basketball next year. i tried out for sta basketball, but not enough girls were committed so there wasn’t a team, but that’s okay. i am very excited for volleyball tryouts, and possibly track and field. we’re reading short stories in english, and half of them i’ve already read with you, which is good! our short story test review is tomorrow. i miss being in grade 8 with you, and everyone else. you made my last two years at St.Mary’s very memorable. but hopefully we will meet again…

    Sincerely,
    Kaylee
